What is a citation?: A citation is any place online that shows your business name, address and phone number: a map app, a search engine, a directory. When they all match, customers and search engines see the same details wherever they look.
Do I own my listings, or am I renting them?: You own them. If you move on, you take your listings with you, and your reviews stay with them.
Do I have to type my details into every site?: No. Your details are taken from your Google Business Profile and sent out for you.
Which places do you cover?: 60 listing networks: search engines, map apps, voice assistants and business directories. They include Apple Maps, Bing, Alexa and the BBB, and they pass your details on to hundreds of other sites.
